Capturing the Front of the ID

This page describes the how to capture the front of the ID, which is the first step of the 2-step identity validation.

1. Capture begins with a simple text message.

2. Tap the link and the 2-step welcome page appears.

3. Tap Start, and then read the Capture guide information for helpful tips.

   

4. Tap I'm ready or wait for the Capture flow to continue automatically.
   

   

   Several tips can appear to help guide the Capture process.
   

   

5. The front of the ID is automatically scanned and presented for review.

   

6. Tap Image is clear, or tap Retake. You have a maximum of four tries.

7. Manual Capture starts if auto-capture is not possible (or if you tapped Capture Manually).

   The camera button is shown during manual Capture.

8. The image is submitted and the next step loads after you tap Image is clear or use the camera button.

   

Next, you'll capture the back of the ID.
